Lauren Wochok, Co-President
Lauren served as Treasurer on the General Wayne PTO last year and enjoys being involved in school events. Her active 5th grader, Brayden, loves to participate in sports, namely ice hockey and soccer. Lauren hopes to bring great community events, fundraising ideas, and community service to support the opening of the new school.
Megan Busby, Co-Vice President
Megan and her husband live in Malvern borough with a daughter in 5th grade and another in 3rd grade at General Wayne. (Can't forget the 2 faithful Golden Retrievers!) As a middle school counselor at the Sixth Grade Center in Downingtown, Megan has a unique perspective to bring ideas for events and fundraisers for this age population. She is happy to help the PTO in any way she can.
Ramya Iyer, Co-Vice President
Ramya and her husband live in Malvern with their 2 sons, a 5th grader and a GVHS junior. Being part of the GVSD community has allowed her to volunteer for the PTO at school events and serve as a classroom parent coordinator. She hopes to bring a fresh perspective, with a focus on enhancing the use of technology and fostering creativity at the 5/6 Center.
Himani Jhamb, Co-Vice President
Himani has been part of the Great Valley family for nearly 4 years. She has been actively involved in the GVSD community volunteering as a Homeroom Parent and organizing for events, such as Teacher Appreciation and the Spring Fair. Himani, whose son is in 6th grade, understands the unique challenges the new students will face during this transitional year. She looks forward to collaborating with parents and students to make this inaugural year at the 5/6 Center the best yet!
Julian Swiggett, Co-Vice President
Julian has deep roots in the Great Valley community, where he has lived his entire life. Currently, he has 2 children in the GVSD—his son, Jayden, at the 5/6 Center, and his daughter, Madeline, at Sugartown Elementary. Julian is excited to build a stronger connection in Great Valley while helping the 5/6 Center students and staff have a fulfilling and successful school year.
Michelle Kim, Co-Treasurer
Michelle has a daughter in 5th grade and a son in 11th grade at Great Valley High School. She previously served as Co-Treasurer at KD Markley and is the lead parent volunteer for the GVHS Robotics Club. Her goal as Co-Treasurer this year is to build a finance structure for the new PTO.

As an active participant in the GVSD, David has served as a Treasurer for the KD Markley PTO and as a member of the "Skeleton Crew" to help set up the 5/6 Center PTO. He has also been a guest speaker at GVHS Lunch-and-Learn events. David enjoys singing in his church choir and cheering for the Patriots.
Kassel Coover, Communications Coordinator
Kassel, also known as "Mom" to her 5th Grader and Sugartown Kindergartener, has been a Homeroom Parent and volunteered for Sugartown PTO events, such as Trunk or Treat, Trivia Night, and Spring Fair. This is her first foray as a PTO board member, and she hopes to support underserved students in the Great Valley community.
